Royal Canin joins Amazon’s environmental program
ST. CHARLES, MO. — ROYAL CANIN® US, a subsidiary of Mars, Inc., joined Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program. The program showcases products that boast sustainability certifications.
“Royal Canin is dedicated to helping pet owners feed their pets more sustainably, so we are incredibly proud to have products that are certified carbon neutral by SCS Global Services be included in the Climate Pledge Friendly program,” said Racquel White, vice president of corporate affairs, Royal Canin. “We are committed to taking additional action to reduce our carbon footprint and further advance our sustainability efforts.”
Royal Canin’s feline care nutrition portfolio and puppy and kitten growth products are the brand’s first to be certified carbon neutral by SCS Global Services, qualifying them for inclusion in the Climate Pledge Friendly program. In addition to ensuring sustainability through its product portfolio, Royal Canin has also detailed its commitment to becoming certified carbon neutral by the end of 2025.
Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program allows customers to find more sustainable products through Amazon stores in an effort to help advance sustainability.
